Advanced Freediver Course
Product Details
Now that you are familiar with the basics and experienced with the sensations of pressure and breath-holding, we are going to take things a little deeper while refining your equalization and freediving skills. With Wave 2 course, there is a particular focus on training and how we can train ourselves to be better divers.
More advanced techniques will be introduced such as mental practices, learning how to use negative buoyancy and how to free fall (the most fun part) to get you diving deeper and holding your breath longer. Your diving will be taken to the next level by experiencing the purest form of freediving, no fins! Of course, deeper depths require higher safety knowledge and advanced safety techniques to make sure we are always taken care of on our journey deeper into the ocean.
It is time to redefine what you thought was possible! See what your body can truly do.
The course will begin with independent study online, followed by a theory session with an instructor, covering these topics:
- Advanced freediving physics and physiology
- Maximize your breathing to get the most out of your breath
- Advanced safety and rescue techniques
- Advanced frenzel equalization
- Mental and relaxation techniques
- Introduction to dolphin kick
- How to train so you can keep improving as a diver
PRE-REQUISITES
- Wave 1 or crossover evaluation
- Depth training, preferably
- Pool training, preferably
PASSING REQUIREMENTS
Pool requirements
- Static 2 min 30 sec
- DYNB 50m
- DNF 35m
Open Water requirements
- CWTB & FIM 24-30m
- CNF 15m
- CWTB Buddying 10-15m
- Rescue from 15m
DURATION
- It is a 4-day course
- 4-hour theory session
- 2-3 open water sessions (3 hours each)
- 2 pool session (3 hours)

- Course completion is subject to training fee.
- Downpayment of 50% is required to sign up.
- Payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- You will be required to pay the balance owing for your course on your certification date.
- Accommodation, facility fee, food, gears, and transportation is not included in this.
